Daddy W.F. Kumuyi is 60 years in ministry today.

In 1979, Daddy Adeboye traveled to Kenya for a world Pentecostal conference.

The convention attracted many preachers from all over the world. When Pa. Adeboye got there, he met tons of people.

They were lodged in a student's hostel and when morning came, he decided to do his morning devotion.

However, there was a problem. The room was crowded. Many people were chatting.

So, he picked up his pocket Bible and went to the toilet. In those days, Christians were supposed to move around with their pocket Bibles.

As he studied his Bible, he noticed someone else was in the stall next to me.

This was where things became more interesting.

As he flushed, the person flushed.
As he opened the door, the person opened the door.
As he stepped out, the person stepped out.

When he got out and saw the person next to him, they both started laughing.

He noticed he too had a pocket Bible and had gone to eat the word too.

The person was Daddy Kumuyi. He left the crowd to find time for God.

That has been the sacrifice for 60 years now.

What a man he is!

Dr. Howard Hendricks conducted research to find out how many preachers fall into sin and derail.

He assembled 250, and in just two years, 246 had fallen into a sexual sin. That is almost like 2 every week if our math is correct.

Steve Farrar noted in his book Finishing Strong that 1 out of 10 preachers who start out strong finish strong.

Therefore, finishing strong as a preacher is in fact an exception, not the rule.

This is why looking at this man today, 6o years in ministry and still fervent for the Lord, is simply indescribable.

Please, believers, let us look up to these fathers while they are still with us.

Let us emulate them. Let's find out how they walk with God in holiness and sanctification so we may do the same.

We give glory to God for the life Baba is living for God.

God bless you, baba. You are a father to us in this generation.

God keep you, and may God raise many many more like you.
