Continuing #Florida4Hโs Month of Service, weโre highlighting Nassau County 4-H youth as they brought native plants back into focus.
Youth built and placed native plant garden boxes in public spaces, beautifying the community while supporting local ecosystems. Each garden included signage to help others learn why native plants matter. #4HServes
Florida 4โH youth tackled food insecurity through their Legacy Meals Spring Program, creating lowโcost meal kits for families, seniors, and youth in need. Partnering with local groups, they made healthy meals more accessible. Proud of our youth for strengthening their community through service. #MonthOfService #4HServes
UF IFAS Extension Lake County 4-H's youth took on a powerful Community Pride project this year by supporting Families in Transition (FIT), rehab centers, and assisted living residents with essential items like blankets and gloves. Their efforts continued through February, giving residents months of comfort, connection, and joy.

Continuing our Hall of Fame spotlight during this year's #VolunteerWeek, we are celebrating inductee Roy Carter ๐ฅณ
Roy has been an #4H agent and volunteer for over 36 years! He has helped to develop year-round 4-H youth programs inside and outside of schools. In retirement, he continues to inspire and mentor countless young people.
