@RutgersAltRoute @CDCgov There are a few things I do that helps. I separate the students during class. I have had a conversation with the guidance counselor who then spoken with the students. Telling the aggressor that they are a bully seems to have a tremendous impact on stopping the behavior.

@RutgersAltRoute My students constantly retaliate. It is an epidemic at my school. I am trying to teach them and give them other solutions instead of their response.

@RutgersAltRoute A4: I connect with parents mostly by contacting them by phone. There are times I use email, but that is infrequent. Many do not have access to the internet, or work 2 jobs and don't have time to go online and check a website regarding their child.

@RutgersAltRoute A3: My department for the entire district meets about 3 times/year. I don't have much communication with them otherwise. Someone may post a worksheet or help with a lesson plan on Teams, but that is about it with regards to technology. Technology is not a driver in my school.

@RutgersAltRoute A2: It takes my students time to get their laptops from the cart and then log in. The most challenging part is monitoring students so they don't jump to websites that are not pertaining to the assignment.
