PRAYER TO ST. JOSEPH FOR EMPLOYMENT
Dear Saint Joseph, faithful guardian of the Holy Family and model of workers, you were once faced with the responsibility of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly compassion upon my current needs. See my desire to work, the efforts I am currently making, and my hopeful waiting. Strengthen me in my weakness and keep my hope steady.
Please help me find gainful employment very soon, so that I may be able to provide for those whom God has entrusted to my care. Intercede for me, that doors long closed may begin to open, and that opportunities suited to my gifts and dignity may come without delay. Guide those who make workplace decisions, that I may be remembered, considered, and chosen.
Saint Joseph, patron of workers and protector of families, pray for peace in every workplace. Where there is tension, bring calm; where there is injustice, bring fairness; where there is division, bring understanding; where there is exploitation, restore dignity. Prepare for me not just a job, but a place of growth, respect, and peace.
Help me guard against discouragement, so that I may emerge from this trial spiritually enriched and with even greater blessings from God. Amen.
MEMORARE TO ST. JOSEPH
Remember, O most pure spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary, my great protector, Saint Joseph, that no one ever had recourse to your protection, or implored your aid without obtaining relief. Confiding therefore in your goodness, I come before you. Do not turn down my petitions, foster father of the Redeemer, but graciously receive them. Amen.
St. Joseph Patron of Workers, Pray for Us.
There are many,who immediately become impatient and lazy when things do not go well with them. The way of man, however, does not always lie in his own power. It is Godโs prerogative to give grace and to console when He wishes, as much as He wishes, and whom He wishes.
"For silence is not God, nor speaking is not God; fasting is not God, nor eating is not God; loneliness is not God, nor company is not God; nor yet any of all the other two such contraries. He is hid between them, and may not be found by any work of thy soul, but all only by love of thine heart. He may not be known by reason, He may not be gotten by thought, nor concluded by understanding; but He may be loved andย chosen with the true lovely will of thine heart . . . Such a blind shot with the sharp dart of longing love may never fail . . ." - Epistle of Discretion
"God often works more by the life of the illiterate seeking the things that are God's, than by the ability of the learned seeking the things that are their own." - St. Anselm
"Blessed is the man who makes himself deaf to every pleasure that separates him from God."

Nada te turbe,
nada te espante,
todo se pasa,
Dios no se muda.
La paciencia todo lo alcanza;
quien a Dios tiene nada le falta.
