Surveillance footage from 2022, shows 82-year-old Home Depot employe Gary Rasor bravely attempted to stop a shoplifter, Terry McMillian, from stealing three power washers.

During the confrontation, McMillian callously pushed Rasor to the ground, causing him to strike his head on a flower pot.

Rasor was taken to hospital as a result of the incident. He later passed away from his injuries at the hospital.

McMillian was sentenced 46 months in prison followed by three years supervised release.
