Es gibt keine Schulmedizin.

Wenn es wirkt, ist es Medizin.
Wenn es nicht wirkt, ist es keine Medizin.

Es gibt auch keine Alternativmedizin.
Wäre sie eine Alternative zur Medizin, würde das ja voraussetzen, dass sie auch tatsächlich wirkt.

Würde sie aber tatsächlich wirken, warum sollte sie dann eine Alternative sein?
Sie wäre dann ebenfalls einfach nur Medizin.

Das, was manche als Alternativmedizin bezeichnen, ist in Wirklichkeit Pseudomedizin.
Pseudomedizin wäre gerne Medizin, ist aber keine.

Die Homöopathie wäre gerne Medizin.
Die anthroposophische Medizin wäre gerne Medizin.
Schüßler-Salze wären gerne Medizin.
Und auch die Bach-Blüten wären gerne Medizin.

Alles, was wir einnehmen und von dem wir eine bestimmte arzneiliche Wirkung erwarten, hat einen Placeboeffekt.

Die richtige Medizin hat einen Placeboeffekt.
Die Homöopathie hat einen Placeboeffekt.
Die anthroposophische Medizin hat einen Placeboeffekt.
Die Schüßler-Salze haben einen Placeboeffekt.
Und auch die Bach-Blüten haben einen Placeboeffekt.

Die richtige Medizin hat aber das, was die anderen gerne hätten:
Eine Wirkung, die über den Placeboeffekt hinausgeht.

Ich finde, das kann man nicht oft genug sagen. 🤷
