Many are saying “other top teams would destroy FSU…” here’s the thing. We don’t know until the game is played! What is the metric for “best?” Like any other sport, it’s wins that count. The fastest four 100m runners don’t automatically win the 4x100…. They gotta run the race…

So that’s why the “best” argument is totally invalid and is 100% not part of the selection. They may say it is, but I promise you it’s not because “best” is totally subjective.

The only day that matters is Game Day.
