That said, dear BBC; there's other sports live! The qualifiers for the slopestyle are happening right now with two Brits involved, for example. I'm thrilled to see a gold. I've been waiting decades for it, I can wait a little longer to watch the celebrations.
And in the interests of being fair we've now caught up - it seems like they're trying to time the delay so it overlaps the between runs time period.
I appreciate the attempt but I really would rather just have the live sport, even if we join in the middle of an event.
I normally defend the BBC over losing the Olympic rights to Eurosport, they can't do much about it. But this is poor; skating finished but rather than cut to slopestyle they continued to chat about skating. Save it for when the sport isn't live. We're now watching on a big delay!
A yearly reminder that #Helldivers2 stealth works great.
You can complete missions without detection/firing a shot. I've been enjoying sneaking into Spore Lungs, as the caves require careful work.
The main barrier to true stealth is that timer forces a riskier pace of play.
That same alert state effect is true of both suppressed and non-suppressed weapons in #Helldivers2 - the difference is that reduced noise detection radius means you're only likely to attract a small amount of enemies and not pull every patrol to your location.
@Pilestedt I don't know if you can fix this without undoing the 60-day patch though. There's a big disconnect between gun-first or strategem-first. It's two different groups pulling in opposing directions.
Personally I'm holding out for a HD2: Classic. Give me that and I can play endlessly
@Pilestedt The Pred Strain is the best example of what's going wrong. It addresses symptoms of difficulty but for entirely the wrong playstyle. They're essentially close-range glass cannons, a challenge for those who want to engage with their guns but leaving many strategems overkill.
