The #HaikuThursday Community is a collection of accountants, monks, potential serial killers, financiers, naturalists, future alcoholics, and many other varieties of artists. We invite you to join us simply by expressing yourself in a 5-7-5 (haiku) poem. On Thursday.
@VallerAsh@KellNick1 Oh, that's a bunch for me to process. INNER tsunami?! The mechanics of such a thing is so hard for me to understand. Awesome stuff; thank you for this reply!
@GraceMckie1 Genius! Love this whole setup, honestly. Was humor intended, here? I don't know why, but I laughed after reading it, maybe because of how the Wizard of Oz shaped my view of scarecrows. In any case, thank you!
@homadebanjo Interesting idea. It sort of reminds me of an argument by a Michael Crichton character that global warming would produce net harms offset by net benefits in other places. Not saying I agree with it, but love the independent thinking. Thank you!
@kazootc Beautiful how these otherwise different elements come together. I'm reminded of the recent discovery of organic compounds on Mars, also. Thank you for the haiku!
@TXKarlRichter Karl, I'm not sure how you're managing down there in Texas. What crazy weather! Stay cool, if you can, and thanks for another wonderful haiku!
@GilbertOfLegend This is the haiku of a guy who knows how to live! While the haiku is lovely, I really enjoy what it says about you, also. Great stuff, thank you!
It's getting late, and I'm not even sure if the hashtag continues to live on this platform, but this story killed me. No iterations--why, it's barely a haiku!
@unicyclesteve Thanks for sharing this deeply personal subject-matter, along with the ones on PTSD. I just know that these are getting out there and helping folks; please continue your wonderful work!
@lafcadiopoetry I feel like you found more than a touch of Disney in this beautiful painting of a haiku. Really beautiful work conveying the sadness of the situation, too. Thanks a bunch for this!
