Meet Uyi, a Backend Engineer at Flutterwave. She works on both Flutterwave For Business (F4B) Store and F4B Collections.
Uyi and her team help bring our product ideas to life by building new features, improving existing ones, and ensuring our merchants and customers enjoy a smooth experience on our APIs, mobile app, and website.
She’s also part of the team responsible for system design, code maintenance, and resolving support issues when they arise.
One of our biggest wins in the first half of 2025 has been Pay with Bank Transfer 🔥
It's made moving money across Africa faster, easier, and smarter.
Truly, it is a big step toward what matters most to us; profitability, sustainability, and long-term growth. And we’re just getting started.

The first half of 2025 was nothing short of spectacular and we’re proud to share that we’ve been in our bag, cooking and building for long-term growth.
In H1, our enterprise payments went up by 20%, we doubled our monthly margin, expanded to 4 African markets, powered $1B Africa–Asia transactions and partnered with Circle on stablecoins.
We’re fired up for H2, doubling down on innovation, focusing on sustaintability and staying committed to building the most trusted payments infrastructure, powering growth across Africa and beyond.

Whether you’re scaling systems or scaling personally, we’re rooting for you 💪🏾
In 2016, we started with a bold idea: to make it easier for Africans to receive and make payments across borders.
Since then, we’ve grown into a company that builds real-world payment solutions that power enterprise businesses and enables multinationals to scale into Africa.
This timely recognition is based on the very things we aim to deliver every day: impact through financial access, innovation in payments, ambition to lead from Africa, and success in helping businesses grow.
We’re not just here to build, we’re here to transform, scale, and lead.
Today, we’re proud to be named on @time’s list of 100 Most Influential Companies (2025) for the second time, alongside global giants like @meta, @amazon and @netflix.
This is a win for us, our partners, and all businesses that believe in the power of the African economy.
It is a win for every Waver who has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this possible.
Whether you’re a boutique in Yaoundé, a restaurant in Douala, or a global brand expanding into Cameroon, Flutterwave is here to support your growth.
From accepting mobile money and cards to managing invoices and payouts, our platform helps simplify how you run your business in Cameroon 🇨🇲
We’re fully licensed and proud to power business expansion, not just payments.

On today’s episode of Keeping Tabs, we spoke with @TaniaOmotayo, who built a successful brand - Ziva Lagos from scratch.
With no fashion or business background, she started Ziva Lagos to solve a problem: stylish, affordable, everyday clothing for Nigerian women.
From selling out her first pop-up to running deliveries on her lunch break, she built the brand from her car trunk to a thriving fashion house.
Now, Ziva serves modern women everywhere and with Flutterwave powering seamless global payments for customers. Scaling beyond borders has never been easier for the brand.
