Brandon Ingram on what his current injury timeline is: “I won’t be participating in training camp much, but I will be out there a little bit. I think it’s a week-by-week thing. I’m just trying to see and figure out when I’m going to be returning to play.”
Keaton Wagler on the inherent pressure he faces as a Top-5 pick added onto everything presently surrounding the Clippers: “I think I’m just going to do my best to stay mentally focused, not worry about all the outside noise or whatever that comes along with it.”
Darius Garland on what he can impart to Keaton Wagler as a pair of current & former Top 5 picks: “It’s a 19-year-old, so it’s going to be a lot of bumps and bruises throughout the season, but you have to get past it. You have to just push through. … I’m super excited about him.”

Brian Sieman returns as our play-by-play announcer along with lead game analyst Jim Jackson. Mike Fratello and Brent Barry also return as analysts, while veteran NBA reporter Ohm Youngmisuk joins as sideline reporter/host.
There was no second surgery. There was one surgery done in May when Brandon Ingram was a member of the Raptors where they discovered the partially torn Achilles and did an all-in-one surgery for the heel and Achilles.
Brandon Ingram said that he understands that there’s “little to no expectations” for the Clippers this season. But Ingram did say “we have enough in the building to compete.”
Brandon Ingram said that he wouldn’t be participating in Clippers’ training camp all that much but did answer in the affirmative when asked if he has already been able to do any on-court work leading up to this point.

Brook Lopez on Lawrence Frank, whom Lopez played under in Brooklyn and Los Angeles: “It is odd not having him here. His presence is still felt obviously.” Lopez joked that Frank doesn’t really answer his texts anyway so it won’t be that much different.
Keaton Wagler has a lot of inherent pressure on him as a Top 5 pick, but going to an organization dealing with the ramifications of losing draft picks brings a whole new aspect. Wagler said he’s going to “block out the outside noise” and mentally focus on the games.
Rui Hachimura said that Bradley Beal was his vet on the Wizards and that he’s “excited” to reconnect with Beal here with the Clippers because of that prior relationship.
