Standings sorted by average speed this morning, all riders are now on the Quina brook circuit. 35 Nick Tarney now has the virtual lead for the males and 56 Steph Mottram leads the female competition. 33 MacLean/Kipper pulling ahead in the tandem battle.

Night turns to day and the final 3rd begins, it’s been a wet night, but a change of clothes some porridge and hot coffee has kept them moving along, they are due in soon and will have covered 272, the course is a lot harder this year with the ternhill circuit closed

That’s the dynamic duo completed 2 circuits of the aptly named Battlefield circuit, now on the Quina Brook circuit for a few loops, southerly winds helping as the pace has picked up about half a mile an hour average
