Read this if you're someone who likes to know what they're buying:

5ha5ow5 will be the first big thing I do on Bitcoin. I know it's not like a 10k collection, but making 555 unique artworks on paper in 6 months is a feat in itself, and something I'm proud of. Never thought I'd be capable of something like that!

It's worth noting that this isn't a skit, but actual fine art on Bitcoin. 555 artworks built with the elements of art, the principles of design and takes composition in consideration (each time in a different way). Even more important though, it's art with emotion that tells a story. It's iconographical heaven. Each work undertook 3 disciplinary phases:

1. printing - setting the fingerprints of the design and establishing it as inherently non-fungible. The paint pressed on paper created a different pattern on the portrait design and frame. This gave each work identity.

2. painting - creating 555 different faces with varying expressions is a challenge, regardless of what you think. None of this was generative. Facial features were expressively imbued with purpose and distinction. Numerous techniques in acrylic paint were employed to give each portrait its soul.

3. drawing - Rather, graffiti. This phase was characterised by immediacy and historicity. Whatever came to mind while working (and being constantly overstimulated with media as inspiration) was put down without me regulating it. If I thought it's nonsensical or irrelevant, it got scratched out, scribbled or overlapped with something else. This made the work honest, since it's all there.
But it did something else which ties into iconography... The works in their entirety reflects the thoughts of an artist in the 21st century. It doesn't get more zeitgeist than that. In other words, this gave the artwork its mind, its story.

This is why this body of work is destined to be on Bitcoin. It reflects our lived history through my perspective, which is in my opinion, art. This is what art does, it shows future generations what was important, what stories were told, what people believed, to show them where they come from. That's an aspect of art that hasn't changed over thousands of years. It's what makes cave art so important. And I'm putting my cave drawings on Bitcoin because I believe it's the superior of any form of database and will outlive us for a very, very long time.

So why did I feel the need to write all of this anyway? I've priced each artwork at $7 because I want anyone to have it if they want it, and I also want you to know what you're keeping in your wallet: a relic which will one day be ancient.

The real threat to Ordinals right now is it is becoming a circular economy. Reliant on people raising funds from within the space and redistributing them in the space, we are still and for a long time more living with the effects of the mass extraction from the top down and the initial Rune narrative.

People reinvesting in the space is of course good and essential, the problem is as revenue streams have dried up in various parts, as its harder for people to get paid positions in projects, as its harder to get paid promotion deals for those that command them, as its harder to release collections and art, and sustain yourself and your project and your career, at the time where it becomes most important to support others and boost the ecosystem it also becomes harder than ever to do so.

The most important people right now to support and focus on are at the bottom, the people who are still here, still supporting, the people putting the coal in the engine, there will always be creatives and geniuses willing to release when there is a community to deliver to. Right now the narrative is about rewarding, respecting and supporting those still working. but the people they are doing that work for, the people still here, the people thought to have the least significance have the most.

Now is the time to bolster, recognise and support the supporters, to combat the boredom, to bring fun to the space and desegment a split community slipping into frustration.
