Some people still haven’t recieved their salary o
Some people havent gotten arrears
One wicked person somewhere is sitting on our money
But sure…. Let’s not be angry
#PayHouseOfficers
In case we’ve forgotten, retired soldiers created a WhatsApp group and conducted a fundraising campaign to pay ransom to bandits for their colleague, Retired Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga, before it was later reported that he had been rescued by the NSA. Do you understand the level of deterioration a Country must reach for former military officers to contribute money to secure the release of a Brigadier General?
They blame systemic issues on the HCWs.
1. They hate the doctor because they spend a long time before being seen in a public hospital. Forgetting it’s one doctor alone seeing over 40 patients.
2. They hate the nurse because she’s not by their bedside to feed and change diapers every time. Forgetting she’s the only one nursing over 25 patients.
3. They hate that HCWs don’t run like it’s portrayed in movies. Forgetting the HCW here is overworked and underpaid unlike the ones in movies.
4. They hate that the HCWs send them to buy other things and do some tests outside. Forgetting that it’s not even the HCWs duty to keep those things in the hospital.

Today, I remember this kid during my HJ in Ogbomosho.
Went to pluck mango by climbing a tree. Fell down head first. Brought in unconscious. I was HO for surgical team on call. We had no operation CT in LTH ogbomosho. Besides, at that time the only Neurosurgery capable center was in Ilorin.
To be fair, LTH Osogbo has a Neurosurgeon, Dr Rabiu but Osogbo was 1hr from Ogbomoso even though it's the same center. UITH was 35mins away. So away we went...I followed the Ambulance.
First stop was HADC where we got a CT showing Massive SDH.
Then sirened our way to UITH.
Got this chap there. They prepped for theatre and he died on the way to the theatre.
I wonder what could have happened if we had functional theatre, man power, equipments on site.
But that's nothing, the minister of power wants to buy air ambulance, so everything will be fine henceforth
I like children that are very free and talkative with everyone but be very careful of them because they can reveal your secrets to complete strangers😂….because why is this one telling me that her mom went to the market and bought 3 clothes for herself🤣
“Two weeks ago my husband started complaining that our baby's nose smelled bad. I thought it was just cough and catarrh, so we bought some drugs, but the smell didn't stop.
Last Friday it got worse—the nose smelled often. My husband checked and saw a bit of catarrh inside, but when I looked, it didn't look like catarrh—it looked like something else.
We took the baby to the hospital. The doctor said there was something inside his nose. They gave him an injection to sleep, and when he fell asleep, the doctor used a tool to pull out a very big piece of nylon from his nose (you can see the photo—so big!). I still don't know how he put it in there without anyone seeing.
The doctor said if they hadn't removed it right then, they'd have had to cut his nose to get it out. I've been in shock since last Friday and haven't posted about it. I'm just so grateful—help me thank God, because I don't know what I'd do if anything had happened.
Grateful to God”🙏🏽🙏🏽

Seeing her name in these pages is a win for every Nigerian health worker.
There’s absolutely no evidence to suggest that takin birth control pills or trying other family planning methods before having a child will in any way affect your fertility rate or your chances of getting pregnant. This fear mongering must stop, make una calm down abeg
