The minister for Science, Technology and Innovation had the distinct honor of inaugurating the Board of E-Express Bus, a strategic subsidiary of Kiira Motors Corporation established to advance Uganda’s e-mobility agenda and drive the commercialization of indigenous innovation.
The Board’s mandate extends beyond oversight to encompass strategic leadership, the promotion of sound corporate governance, stewardship of sustainability initiatives, adoption of digital transformation and artificial intelligence, and the cultivation of partnerships that enable sustainable growth and long-term national value.
Uganda’s Tenfold growth strategy will be significantly propelled by robust innovation ecosystems anchored not only in groundbreaking ideas, but in institutions that are well governed, accountable, and resilient in sustaining economic transformation.
