At London Wembly 2015 Fnatic at the LoL World Championships, I met a crazy, charismatic, genius frenchmen. Benoit Pagotto (@benitopagotto ). We hit it off instantly, bantering about the future of sports, tech, everything. The laughs and jamming never ended.
Quickly, he became Fnatic's creative director accross some of the funnest times we've had, launching Fnatic Gear, Bunkr, a amazing of clothing collections, Hello Kitty collab etc, the list goes on.
His genuis wasn't just for esports, after Fnatic he founded the most successful NFT project, RTFKT, and then went onto to sell it to Nike.
Today we lost that genius. I'm sad to say that Benoit passed away last night.
My love goes to his family and partner.
I'm so glad I got to hang with you one last time, and watch the game in Paris. Rest well my friend.

Beyond the boys + results: a big reason why FNATIC has fans and people that actually come to watch them play is because of fan engagement. A lot of teams don't do it.
(@McMuffinx33 the GOAT)
Yesterday we lost a legend in Shushei.
Shushei was part of the incredible Fnatic team that won the first ever League of Legends World Championships back in 2011 that begun the Fnatic LoL fandom for so many of our fans.
Our thoughts are with his friends and family ๐งก
If I had a nickel for every time I won an event award, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice ๐ค
Jokes aside I am super proud to be able to lift this award for Fnatic. Could not have done this without the support of everyone at Fnatic! ๐งก
