The FNHP provides advocacy and through-care support – practical and psychosocial – to improve the wellbeing of families at risk of eviction to homelessness.
Another week another “First Nations Homelessness Project” tenancy support busy bee. Good exercise in this weather! Good exercise, good company, good deed.
Inbox me if you would like to volunteer to join us one day.
What an epic FNHP tenancy stabilisation busy bee today. 1.78 tonnes of bulk rubbish tipped alongside a disabled Mother of disabled children at the end of a long DV relationship, who reports she sure feels lighter as a result of today's efforts - with new beginnings made possible.

Particular thanks to volunteer Martin MacMahon who did an excellent job of fence repair. I’ve learned a lot over the years from watching his thoughtful, creative, generous handywork.

What a great crew of volunteers, and who made all the difference today to the well-being of a family - single Mother to 8 including two disabled children (some her own, some she is Kincarer for.)

Thank you to the “Riley men," for your powerful work today in support of a young family who has already had to endure far more than any family ever should within a lifetime.
Another great First Nations Homelessness Project tenancy support busy bee this weekend alongside a disabled Elder who had never even heard of the NDIS - an application for longer term support is now underway. Thanks so much to all volunteers who came. Outstanding community spirit
Hello Good Folks,
I hope this tweet finds you well. We need your support to continue to work alongside families at risk of eviction to homelessness. We cannot do this without you.
Every dollar hits the ground, running.
Many thanks, and much respect.
