Health Science Accelerated spent last week practicing for their CNA testing. Seniors are tested through a written exam & a clinical skills test that evaluates performance in areas like measuring & recording vital signs, assisting patients with transfers, & performing care tasks.
The skills portion of the Nail Technician licensure exam takes 3.5 hours. That's after the 90-minute written exam that tests students' knowledge on topics like infection control. These AM students are tackling the exam today with eyes on achieving their license!
"Quiet on set!" Computer Animation students are adding the last details to their animation project. From animating their own creations in Toon Boom Harmony to recording dialogue for each other's films, it was so much fun seeing their creativity and technical skills come together!
T-minus 22 minutes to @FRC5801's match of the FIRST World Championship! Catch the action today and tomorrow live at https://t.co/a8pEgfTqG2! #omgrobots#CTCLeads
Excited by the progress on our new Construction building. Located behind Fire Prairie Upper Elementary, the new building will let students train year-round on masonry, plumbing, electricity, carpentry, and equipment operations.

Hosted our first tour of the year with 8th graders from @GV_Schools! Ambassadors put their CTC knowledge to good use by showing the Class of 2028 everything from a plasma water table at work in Welding to performing CPR in Fire Science/EMT.
Not only did @BSSDnews put on another great College & Career Fair, but we ran into numerous CTC grads, including @FortOsageSchool alumna Makayla Schulz. Makayla is a Construction grad studying architecture at @UMKC 🙌
One of our teachers asked Cybersecurity seniors Colin, TK, Alex, & Ethan to look at an email that sounded too good to be true. They not only investigated the email & confirmed its authenticity, but also wrote a professional email summarizing their findings 😎
