MY GROWTH PORTFOLIO PIE is locked in 🚀📈
I’m starting from £0 and chasing maximum growth while I can still handle volatility.
This is not a safe portfolio. It is built around AI infrastructure, semiconductors, cloud, cybersecurity, power and data centres.
Not financial advice.
🧵👇
My allocation:
VanEck Semiconductor ETF — 15%
Nvidia — 10%
Broadcom — 9%
Micron — 8%
Alphabet — 7%
Amazon — 7%
GE Vernova — 7%
Vertiv — 7%
Microsoft — 5%
Samsung — 5%
Infineon — 5%
Palantir — 5%
CrowdStrike — 5%
VanEck Uranium/Nuclear — 5%
The main idea:
AI is not just ChatGPT, Nvidia or one company.
AI needs chips, memory, networking, cloud, software, cybersecurity, cooling, electricity, nuclear energy and data centres.
I’m trying to own the full AI infrastructure chain, not just one winner.
VanEck Semiconductor ETF — 15%
This is my core chip basket.
It gives me exposure to the semiconductor industry and reduces the risk of relying on only one chip company.
It also gives indirect exposure to names like TSMC, ASML, Nvidia, Broadcom, Micron, AMD and others.
NVIDIA — 10%
Nvidia is the AI hardware leader.
Yes, it is already inside the semiconductor ETF, but the direct position is intentional.
The ETF gives me broad exposure.
The direct holding gives me more weight to one of the biggest AI infrastructure winners.
Broadcom — 9%
Broadcom is my AI networking and custom chip play.
AI data centres need more than GPUs. They need networking, custom silicon and infrastructure.
Broadcom sits in the “connect everything together” part of the AI buildout.
Micron — 8%
AI does not only need chips. It needs memory.
Micron gives me direct exposure to AI memory and HBM.
If Nvidia is the brain, memory is one of the key parts that helps the system run faster and handle bigger AI workloads.
Alphabet — 7%
Alphabet gives me Google Search, YouTube, Google Cloud, Gemini, TPUs and Waymo potential.
It is not just an AI hype stock. It has a huge cash-generating business behind it.
That matters in drawdowns because strong companies can keep investing when weaker ones struggle.
Amazon — 7%
Amazon gives me AWS, cloud infrastructure, e-commerce and AI services.
AWS is one of the biggest cloud platforms in the world.
AI companies need cloud power, storage and compute. Amazon sits directly in that demand chain.
GE Vernova — 7%
AI needs electricity.
Data centres require huge power, grid upgrades and energy infrastructure.
GE Vernova is my grid, power and electrification play.
This connects the portfolio to the physical energy demand behind AI.
Vertiv — 7%
AI data centres generate serious heat.
Vertiv gives me exposure to cooling, power management and data-centre infrastructure.
It is a picks-and-shovels company for the AI boom.
Instead of only owning AI apps, I want the companies building the backbone too.
Microsoft — 5%
Microsoft gives me Azure, Copilot, enterprise software, cloud, AI tools and strong cashflow.
It may not be the most explosive holding, but it adds quality.
In a drawdown, I want some companies with deep pockets and strong recurring revenue.
Samsung — 5%
Samsung gives me AI memory, HBM, semiconductors, foundry exposure and hardware scale.
I picked Samsung over Apple because my portfolio is focused on AI infrastructure, not consumer devices only.
Samsung fits the AI hardware and memory cycle better for this strategy.
Infineon — 5%
Infineon gives me power chips, industrial semiconductors, auto chips and electrification.
It adds a different semiconductor angle from Nvidia, Broadcom and Micron.
This helps connect the chip side with the power and industrial side of AI.
Palantir — 5%
Palantir is my AI software pure play.
It gives me exposure to government AI, enterprise AI, data platforms and real-world AI use cases.
It is volatile, so I’m keeping it controlled at 5%.
High upside, but not allowed to dominate the portfolio.
CrowdStrike — 5%
AI, cloud and digital systems need security.
when your standards rise, your expenses rise and when your expenses rise, you are forced to earn at a level that can support them. look, comfort makes people coast and pressure makes people produce. sometimes, the fastest way to make more money is to create a life that demands more from you.
May the years ahead be kinder and richer than the ones behind us. May we grow into the people we’re meant to become and may that journey carry us to breathtaking places along the way.
