@Average_Jonas Oh, so that actually never stops happening? Great =/
You presumably already know this, but you can turn the volume down on pings. I only realised that last week.
@JamesRapien Right, I know it's just a term but this all in or not bit is kinda dumb. The Browns went all in with the Watson trade, we didnt go all in last off season. theres a scale, right?
This was a good raise that we should win the hand off... but we're not just wrecked if it goes badly!
@thebengalorian Yeah, I was just looking at the Olines in the north, thinking about who is going to block this guy. Ours is best, no?
we should keep drafting them to keep it that way, but no way was it our top need, and one which needed 10th overall to sort out.
@JoeGoodberry cant think how to word it but a version of this to frame "player x wont be there at 10" would be cool, as it feels like theres 15 people in that top 9!
@JoeGoodberry Bane
Bailey
Downs
Styles
Reese
Woods
McCoy
Mauigoa
Love
Do we have to be happy to draft them? this is tiered, and progressively less happy.
@thebengalorian I'd have liked that for him if nothing else. really didn't like how that went, especially since it's not like we saw some night and day change as a consequence.
@ljw21@crabtree_cody I still wish it played out a little differently for you, even if the result is one you're happy with. e.g I wish it played out that you started last year, it went fine, then if you retired you retired, sort of thing. didnt like seeing it happen like it did for you. better to come
@JamesRapien@TripleG943 the problem with this comparison is that it's a false equivalence. it's quite a lot more likely that Al will be healthy than Stewart will be as good as Garrett this year. so its reasonable to bank on the sun rising each day, but not winning the lottery even tho both are "ifs"
@BengalsNation8 pretty cheap to sign a linebacker, so pretty annoying that it's not happened. we saw how it went with two rookies last year, so it's not like we can just draft the solution. those two will likely be better with a years experience but it would be really good to have a vet + cheap
@thebengalorian oh no, this has started already. we really need a veteran linebacker - Styles might well be a great player down the line but knight might also be a good one. Knight didnt look like it last year, and neither will Styles. what do we do then? draft a linebacker in the first 2027?
@Jennife45487237@JamesRapien He's good but not the sort of money and years he wants, good. How much was Clowney making the year Burrow's wrist was injured? I wouldn't have paid him 35mil but he was still plenty good enough to be a part of that.
@CoachMinich Rankins got meningitis in his season with us, that could have been a totally different story.
Nick Scott had a really good week 18 game but has been in the 50-60 range on pff (for whatever you think thats worth) for his whole career. fine for 7th round guy.
