AI lets anyone code?" No. What it lowers is the barrier to starting a real product. I could always write specs and judge designs. I could never ship SwiftUI + widgets + Live Activities alone. Now the idea is the entry ticket. Not the code. #AIcoding

@mindinpanic Codex was very good at execution. The harder part was learning how to give it enough product context, make tradeoffs, verify behavior, and decide what “done” actually meant.
I can't write Swift. Zero iOS background. But I just took a vague idea all the way to a release-ready iOS app — with Codex writing every line of code.
Not a toy demo. And what it taught me about vibe coding is not what I expected. A few notes 🧵

Over the next few weeks I'll post what made this work: shaping the idea before any code, docs as shared context with the AI, and why judgment — not execution — is what separates outcomes now.
Follow along if you build with AI. Full story: https://t.co/KpRWh8XOKB
What actually shipped: SwiftUI screens, local storage, a timeline, statistics, share images, widgets, Live Activities, localized copy, App Store materials, a privacy write-up.
The wall between "I have an idea" and "I'm building it" is gone. The rest of the walls are not.
DailyTrace 1.3 makes looking back at your time feel better: clearer stats, quieter share posters, and swipeable previews before saving. Still local-first, still not a score. https://t.co/FfppuUwrI8

I’m currently maintaining one app, one browser extension, and two websites — while building a new website as well.
All powered by Codex.

"Know thyself" is an ancient idea, but it shouldn't be an abstract slogan. To know yourself, you first need to observe your real life. And time is one of the clearest places to start. This is why I built DailyTrace. 1/10 🧵 #indiedev
DailyTrace is in its first version. It will improve, but it will not expand blindly. If you are tired of complicated productivity tools and want a quiet way to begin with time, DailyTrace might be for you. 9/10 #indiedev
