I've written almost a dozen books about rock music, including ones on the Velvet Underground, Who, Beatles, and 1960s folk-rock. I teach rock history courses.

Today my book Do What You Fear Most: The History of the Velvet Underground was published in the UK. The staff of Foyle's, London's largest bookstore, asked me to sign a few copies, one of which is on display here. The book will be published in the US in mid-June.
