@JWLevitt@but_cyclists Cyclist should have given you priority, but I’m wondering why you weren’t running on the pavement as it sounds like that was an option?
@MaCgroupUK@ClarkeMicah@visitcamberwell@AJamesHidell Motoring doesn’t keep my taxes low at all. It has massive externalities that revenue barely covers. Meanwhile I’d love to see this “fortune” spent on cycling. Where is it? Because every time a UK government has said it will invest in cycling it then quietly slashes the budget
@MaCgroupUK@ClarkeMicah@visitcamberwell@AJamesHidell Cycling is far more efficient than walking, and much more efficient than driving in many urban cases. The amount spent on cycling is a drop in the ocean compared to the billions spent on motorists leading to the transport mess we have now.
@cupcake7166@Bikery1966 The biggest risk to me on the street is incompetent and malicious drivers like the one here, so I think it’s a great use of police time. I’m shocked that you trivialise road crime as being not worth pursuing despite the massive harm it causes to 30,000 killed or seriously injured
@7hashtag7@DavidJaques10 I don’t see what’s so bad about being in a middle lane on the motorway doing the speed limit. If the other vehicle is doing 70 too you can easy drop back a couple of mph if you’d rather move in again. 🤷🏽
@cupcake7166@Bikery1966 What video? It’s a still. If your main point is there are too many crimes why didn’t you say that instead of making personal attacks about the cyclist? As far as I’m concerned initiatives like Op Snap are a great way to help the Police do more with their resources.
@cupcake7166@Bikery1966 Why are you making every excuse for the driver but not making any allowances for the cyclist, given they are the one that were at risk here?
