Understanding & influencing courageous behaviour is an important part of leading change. If we don't feel courage, we won't try new things. @BillTreasurer helpfully describes "three buckets of courage":
1) TRY courage is the courage of first attempts, being wiling to experiment & try new things.
2) TRUST courage is about letting go of formulas that worked in the past, our preconceptions about how things should be & our need to control.
3) TELL courage is where people feel safe to express themselves authentically & fully.
It's our role as leaders to actively nurture the three courage buckets to create an environment where confidence & psychological safety prevail over fear. Powerful blog & sketchnote by @tnvora: https://t.co/2m9t5481m3, based on https://t.co/saA4DxaZAo
I'm leaving my current role in a community hospital due to safety concerns that have not been addressed adequately. I'm sharing this because I'm deeply concerned about what is happening in the NHS and I'm worried about the risk our patients are facing.
Today marks the 6th annual #AHPsDay ✨🎇🎉

"I’ve worked with Dermot and team for years, they are always responsive and very helpful with any questions you need help with. They have supported us through the early days of growing a business taking care of all the things you wouldn’t know needed doing." #testimonials
This is my job as a Dietitian. Meet colleague at MND patients’ home – about his nutrition choices for end of life. I try to support him & his wife as she sobs nearby. Most difficult decisions they shall ever have to make. #DW2022#ADayInTheLife@BDA_Dietitians
Spent over an hour with 2 patients yesterday on why ‘sugar doesn’t feed cancer’. So sad when you see the time lost to these crazy diets. This dietary counselling takes time & you cannot rush it. Hence why I was backed up then for the rest of the day #@trust_indi @materprivate
Before we announce individual award winners, we'd like to acknowledge and celebrate those in this year's BDA Roll of Honour.

@rosie_saunt I was taught re-gi-men. But accept either and not the most important thing. These days I even chill over dietitian or dietician!!!But working with kids try to think about now as feeding plan or meal plan. De-medicalise and fit into what would be children's meals and snacks.
