We have 1.19 for a few days, but we agree with https://t.co/s7LqEgSuD1 that "Go 1.18 was a big release with huge features like generics, fuzzing, and workspaces. Go 1.19 is not a release on that scale."

Verbose logging with wrong rotation brought our Gitlab server to the outage. Airflow couldn't schedule DAG's, because it needs something from Gitlab, so our Crons were not running for a couple of hours. Oh, how we love mornings starting with incidents.🙄 Time to decouple things.

Half of our PHP stack is already on 8.0.x. And since 8.1 is out, we will try to deploy it to production soon. The other half is on 7.4.x. It's time to schedule an upgrade now. You should too.✌️
