Had the pleasure of attending the AFL grand final last week. Incredible game. Devastating for Freo and their supporters how it ended. But that could really spur them on for years to come. Loved their fans and the atmosphere they created. Hoping they get the chocolates in 2027

@wafootyhub @davestev_ @CalTwomey I think that very fact proves it’s tongue in cheek. We all know Clark was fantastic this season and deserved his AA. Fages tagged him in the GF. Think that says it all. Not everything needs to be taken so seriously.

[SpudSportsTragic @Footyspud]

@MakeMelbGreat @CalTwomey @AFLcomau @traderadio Agree, but who plays back up ruck?

[SpudSportsTragic @Footyspud]

@thomasjameoneil If I was picking, I would have him in front of Murphy Reid. Rate him as a player, but I’m unsure how he makes it in front of Ashcroft.

[SpudSportsTragic @Footyspud]

@thomasjameoneil Important to recognise that while he may have had a few quieter games in the start of the year, when playing through an elbow injury. He did play every game. Ended up playing up to 7 more games than some of the players who made the team. This should be valued

This fella has huge upside, incredible pick up for the saints

[Callum Twomey @CalTwomey]

Brisbane premiership player Sam Marshall has requested a trade to St Kilda.

It came down to St Kilda and Essendon, but the out-of-contract 20-year-old is seeking a trade to the Saints.

More on @AFLcomau and @TradeRadio.

@MichaelWhiting "There's plenty of history around to say that Grand Final losses don't have to define you or destroy you, they can make you, so that's what we'll be looking to do." Post 2023 GF. What an incredible coach

[SpudSportsTragic @Footyspud]

@bphreshly @tommorris32 @traderadio @7AFL @1116sen He was never staying. He’s still one of their top 3 players. Given the contract length and size of the contract, you’d suspect it will be similar to the compensation that the Giants get for Toby Greene. Both the same age also

[SpudSportsTragic @Footyspud]

@ffc_mwse @JoshJenkins24 @TheRunHomeSEN Both holding. Never a free

[SpudSportsTragic @Footyspud]

@07_flick @JoshJenkins24 And Amiss was holding Lester’s Jumper. Never a free.

[SpudSportsTragic @Footyspud]

@whateverMcgreg @BradKlibansky Wilmot is from Northern suburbs of Melbourne, lions drafted him with their first pick. Gallop was a 3rd round pick Hipwood is the only first round pick the lions have taken from their academy that has played over 10 games and he’s average.

[SpudSportsTragic @Footyspud]

@Horney_Jon @BradKlibansky Yes, he is a 3 time premiership champion. What a player

[SpudSportsTragic @Footyspud]

@pccrypto0910 @BradKlibansky Lost Beames, Rockliff, Redden, Patfull. Adcock, Hanley, Stef Martin and McStay during the build also.

[SpudSportsTragic @Footyspud]

@JyeTristianLFC @tommorris32 Incredible fortunate and lucky to have F/S come through at the right point. Not sure the AFL gave them a massive leg up though.

[SpudSportsTragic @Footyspud]

@SwoopLuke Poor to be sharing misinformation like this. People take what you share at the truth. That Scott G is a moron. I like your content. You’re better than this.

[SpudSportsTragic @Footyspud]

Brayshaw Norm, Amiss first goal

[SpudSportsTragic @Footyspud]

Wet weather should suit Freo a lot more than the Lions. Lions threat is their electric ball movement by foot and their kick-mark game.Lions lack of pressure and defence hasn’t mattered due to this. Freo to break it open and win by 29 points #AFLGrandFinal #AFLFinals #AFLFreoLions
