It’s been about a month and a half now, can someone who’s actually tested tell me if the 30% primary buff has actually made them usable. I’m still mostly using double special, and haven’t used many primaries since the buff. But from what I used, Handcannons and Autos feel way better, Pulse feel slightly better, SMGs are worthless. Got a godroll Unforgiven like second week of the update and it has got to be one of the weakest “Best Weapon,” I’ve ever used.
It’s kind of funny. In 12 years Destiny had 2 games and 14 expansions, and managed to tell a complete saga worth of narrative, start a new one while also recovering from the disaster that was the D1 narrative launch. Meanwhile, Borderlands has had 5 games in the last 12 years and they’re still blueballing their community over the “Potential War.”
Doing a bit of space research and have a question for people who know Destiny lore. Is Neomuna just a sky city or does it reside near or on one of Neptune’s Moons?
Actually got off the game after trying to do 1 PvP match, I don’t care if it cost me thousands of bright dust I don’t wanna play Destiny PvP ever again.
This is probably my only opinion that should be controversial about Edge of Fate, but this DLC has the most overrated narrative in the series. The lodi moments and the ending were good, the other 80% of the story that happened between these moments not so much. Did anyone care or even remember anything about The Archon, House of Exile, Aionans or the Maya parts of the story? Edge of Fate was play a forgetful story for 1 hour, with gameplay that make year 1 look polished, then get a Lodi cutscene that makes you forget how bad the last hour was. While I’m here, outside of that one moment with Lodi did Orin do anything this DLC? I honestly don’t remember her even talking that much like the other NPCs.
No Lost Sectors sounds like a joke, but with Monument of Triumph they made Legend/Master ones drop Tier 5 Destination & World Gear. Meaning if you want to farm Cosmodrome but there isn’t a distortion for a few hours you can just farm Legend Lost Sectors. Every Destination also always has one up, and they rotate daily so if you don’t like the current one you can go to a different location or just farm tomorrow.
Went to Kepler for Footage and got to witness first hand why it’s the worst destination in the series
- No Strikes
- No Lost Sectors
- No Patrols, Public Events, Destination Rep, or Pathfinder
- No other players
- It’s ugly to just even look at
- The Destination activity is only playable for 30 min every 2 hours and drops only Tier 3 loot
- It has 9 currencies for only 6 weapons
- You have to redo some puzzles every time you want to patrol certain areas
- Outside of the title, the reward from puzzles is capped at tier 2 loot
- And getting Tier 5s here is harder than every other aspect of the game
Mercury may be a donut, but at least it had basic destination features and wasn’t awful to look at
