Yesterday was our first ever excavation for the new L6 module.

22, 3ft deep clandestine burials to tackle in the cold (the rain stayed away!).

I’m so proud of these lot. Our first ever cohort and they’ve fully embraced this new field of forensics.

Tomorrow we are doing our first ever large scale scattered remains scene with the L6 forensic archaeology/anthropology students.

We have a lovely surprise for them all too… Luke and I have the most fantastic colleagues/friends.
