The Zeliliya massgrave has been opened by the foundation of martyrs and religious ceremonies in Sinjar yesterday. This massgrave contains more than 17 civilians Yezidi bodies who were killed by IS on the 3rd of August 2014.

35 years ago today, the Iraqi Air Force bombed the Kurdish city of Halabja with poison gas.

At least 5,000 people suffocated in the attack, others went blind or suffered respiratory burns. Thousands died as a result.

@NatashaFatah This is an ancient issue, it's been decades that these people have been unjustly detained. The delusions of grandeur of those holding them are so extreme, they go to great lengths to get noticed. They would be better thought of if they released Raif and Samar Badawi.
