We were thrilled to send select Forestview students to participate in the 1st “Gaston County Intern for a Day” program. They learned all about the Library, Tax & County Manager’s office, Senior Center & the Environmental Services division of Public Works! It was an awesome day!

Even on a rainy day, there is always plenty to do with the City of Gastonia-Public Works Department. Senior, Garrett Hoyle (pictured in the middle) was working with a crew today clearing storm drains of debris. Nice work!

What a great visit to the EF Belk & Son Electrical Contractor job site! Senior, Jose Jimenez-Lara, is gaining valuable experience as an electrical trades intern. He is working on an industrial project in the Apple Creek Corporate Center located in Dallas.
