"Stunner"
It's what it says on the tin. It's my world's version of a phaser set to stun, but it does nothing else.
Just imagine how many crooks and threats could be stopped that can't be any other way right now. You can stun a running bad guy with no fear.
#MayWorldbuilders, hey there, friends! Tell me, what is ONE thing you created for your world that you wish existed in real life? Could be some magical device or tech, a cool weapon, maybe some creature, maybe a specific character? π
Also learned about territory markers.
Apparently, dragons use a mix of scent and magic to mark territory. It seems to be something only dragons can pick up.
Which I guess makes sense. Would explain how dragons can mark territory without driving out other animals in the process.
Always funny how my stories just figure things out for themselves.
I just confirmed the forest #dragons 1) have no breath abilities, and 2) CAN control plants, but not easily.
But I did not know these things, until someone declared them.

Luna: I mean... it's kind of already the world we live in now.
Gold 1: Yes, but I'd stick to the inner worlds if I get a choice. The fringes see a bit too much combat for my liking. Still better than ours though. I'm not full Roddenberry, but I have moments
#MayWorldbuilders, good morning! Would you go to the world you created? Is it better than present-day Earth? What if you could control the time and place you got sent? Or is it some hellish dystopia that you'd say HELL NO to?
#MayWorldbuilders D27:
For Holdrens, there is nothing. At most, the dead might be posed to be less disturbing to see, but otherwise, they are left to be reclaimed by the wild. No memorials at all.
The story has not yet told me about Holdren soldiers. I wonder if it ever will.
#MayWorldbuilders. This might be a bit more of a niche question... but what sort of memorials for the deceased are created in your fictional world? Do they have graves? Do cemeteries exist or are they a more private affair? Epitaphs? Personal memorials at home?
Today's funny image:
Holding fish on a stick against an elemental dragon's horn while it is channeling fire magic to cook meat.
Probably better than when Draco cooked dinner for Bowen... maybe?

fully formed and showed it could actually hold the line, it finally brought unity to humanity, and even allowed for a pretty good government to take hold. One well restricted against future over-reach, while also being given the tools needed to ensure the nation's survival.
#MayWorldbuilders D27;
The Jantan Wars have been off and on for the last 40 years. The first 10-25 years of it were NOT good for humanity. Though it did finally unify Earth and her colonies... mostly. The ones that didn't... didn't survive.
Once the United Systems Republic...
#MayWorldbuilders, in this week about death, I must ask: have there been any devastating wars, diseases, or other disasters in your fictional world? What happened? How did it change society afterward?
Remember, keep your answers related to your work(s) of fiction!
#MayWorldbuilders D24:
wow is that a long story!
Dealt with death?
Much of Sundale's pack was killed when he was a cub. Then he lost the human who raised him. Then he almost died himself. Then his rescuer almost died in a sword duel.
He's faced and seen death A LOT in his career.
#MayWorldbuilders, how has your MC (or another important character) dealt with death? Have they experienced the death of a loved one? Have they nearly died themselves? Have they met any Death-related entities?
Just an insane month. I feel like I barely get a day to breathe.
There is hope of things quieting down a bit soon, so maybe I can start my plans for posting more then.
Bear with me. Things are moving... I hope.
@WritesCole Well, I don't work with the wolves. I just visited a sanctuary a couple of times. *points to profile pic* Though that did happen there. :P
I've been trying to get engagements, and I have one that might pan out. But I also have a great many unreturned calls and emails.
#MayWorldbuilders D21;
Holdrens are just like wolf packs. The heads of the pack are the heads of the family. It's not "king/queen". It's "dad/mom". The kids are the members.
That said, Holdrens will "adopt" loners more freely than wolves. And let others in the pack breed too.
#MayWorldbuilders, hello friends! What is the household/family structure like in your fictional world? Is it one dad, one mom, bunch of kids? Big extended families? Or maybe a bunch of friends who found each other and now live together?
@WritesCole Probably hire a pro to be honest. Not just one of these "I'll spam social media for" services. Someone who can work with me to do stuff that will actually work. The fact of the matter is, vecause of dysgraphia, the pile of things to becomes too much for me to process.
I don't want to get too excited or hopeful.
And yet...
I may be getting the chance to get back on the horse I was on just as Covid hit. A time when I was hitting my stride, and really on a roll.
One can hope...

@StevenTBoers63 Funny thing that.
My sci-fi series (currently anyway) are the only ones that seem to want chapter titles. Not a single one of my others, even my other WIPs, do.
Another story may someday want titles, but for now, just those do. Weirdest thing.
