WoW Forever launches Nov 4 and your addons need to keep up.
ForeverAddons is a free, hand-checked list of addons that actually work on Forever, updated daily as makers port their favorites.

Launch night spotlight: Ley Maps by @JohnWillikers. In-game routes plus a desktop tray that keeps the map data fresh. Newly joining https://t.co/tbCCXlXtej. If your sense of direction left with the queue, this one's for you.
@Lawrentiueus Nice work getting Spirit Tap Engine sorted for launch night. If you want it in the ForeverAddons directory, drop the CurseForge or Wago link and we'll take a look.
@TheRealRastov You're not alone. Plenty of people are going fully vanilla for the first stretch. When the bags start yelling, a single bag addon is a pretty gentle cave.
@Vyxlina Short launch list: quest helper, bag addon, nameplates, and something for chat/quest text. We keep a curated Forever-ready set at https://t.co/tbCCXlWVoL if you want names instead of a scavenger hunt.
WoW Forever launch night check-in. Where are you right now?
A) In and questing
B) Still in the queue
C) Staring at the ruleset screen
D) Gave up, trying again tomorrow
Bonus points for naming the first addon you installed.
@Elliechi_ You dare. Keep it simple for night one: bags, a map upgrade and a quest helper, then add more only when something bugs you. We keep a list of Forever-ready addons at https://t.co/tbCCXlWVoL if you want a starting point.
@icemantvvitter Made it through the queue and straight into the good stuff. Enjoy that first sunset in the starting zone, it hits different on day one.
@ProtoCards_ Surviving the queue only to get stuck on the ruleset screen is a very launch day boss fight. Hang in there. Once it opens, a quick /reload after logging in clears up a lot of the weird first night addon errors too.
Launch hour hot take: the login queue is the best time to sort your UI.
Bags, a quest helper and a mob tagging addon, set up before you load in, and you're leveling while everyone else is still dragging action bars around.
Servers open 3 PM PT. Good luck out there!
@Zackkly Honestly a very healthy boundary. If music bingo wins tonight, the boars in the starting zone will still be there tomorrow. Good luck either way!
@skeedio 48 hours of snacks is the correct amount of preparation. Pro tip for the queue: sort your addons and keybinds while you wait, so the second you load in you're questing instead of dragging action bars around.
@Blazzin_Bob Our take: Forever works best when it keeps the classic feel and borrows only the quality of life stuff people already fix with addons anyway. Bag space, map clarity, that kind of thing. Curious which side wins in the comments.
@NoobsieGames@Blizzard_Ent Welcome home! There's something about the first run through a starting zone that never gets old. What are you rolling first tonight?
@NZXT Under an hour to go. Somewhere a PC is about to spend its first night of retirement running Elwynn Forest at 300 fps while its owner waits in a login queue. Who on the team is rolling Horde?
