Not once did I say that they should be together. I said they had better chemistry than Eremika because Eremika felt one-sided! I’m not going to say no bs like “ oh they’re siblings Eren’s basically her brother” or “ none of that.” Eremika had potential. It’s just that Eren basically showed basically 0 interest whatsoever in her compared to Mikasa, whose whole personality was “is Eren safe?” Then turn around for Eren to basically lash out, crying on the ground, saying he doesn’t want Mikasa to be with anyone else but him as he commits mass genocide. That’s not a good romance. I understand Eren is more driven on his goal on the titans and then the world beyond Paradis and has likely forsaken romance, but that is a no-no. You need a bit more than a couple of flashbacks of a scarf scene and Eren trying to give her hope that they won’t die when faced with death to convince me they’re meant to be. I haven’t watched the anime in maybe 5 years, and my info could be a little off, but based on what I remember, this is what I cooked up here. If I’m blatantly wrong, I’m wrong.
When a character in a singular arc can go from background character to being a side character better written than your female lead and has more parallels and chemistry with your main character than the female lead, that is a problem. That is the problem with Mikasa; she’s just a big blah.
@pogchampari@lovecleradinn The day humanity just outright accepts gender swapping or transitioning or whatever it’s called is the day humanity is doomed.
@LayZDKing@XxJakez123xX See, I was finna say yeah because at first I’m like yeah, he is, then I’m like wait no, he’s not a pedo, he’s a lolicon, then I read the top comment and remembered dude smashed Eris when she was 15. So yes, he is
