i looked into brian steel bc him succeeding in durk & thug’s cases isn’t even the half of it. in 1992 he was assigned an “unwinnable” attempted-murder case involving an illiterate man named greg shephard. steel couldn’t get him to talk so he slept in jail w him until he opened up
then he investigated the witnesses, found evidence shephard wasn’t the shooter & got him home. they made a deal: if steel got him out, shephard would learn to read. years later he got a job at the atlanta journal-constitution & came to steel’s office every thursday to read to him
Brian Steel gets swarmed by Lil Durk fans while leaving the courthouse following Durk being found NOT GUILTY on all counts in his murder-for-hire trial
On the morning of September 11, 2001, 28-year-old Marcy Borders was at her desk on the 81st floor of the North Tower.
It was her first month on the job.
When the plane hit, her boss told everyone to stay where they were. Marcy ignored him and ran for the stairs.
She reached the lobby of a nearby building just as the tower came down behind her. A photographer caught her standing there, frozen, covered head to toe in grey dust.
To the world, she became known as "The Dust Lady."
But she never wanted to be famous for it. She became afraid of planes and tall buildings. She started drinking and using drugs, lost custody of her kids, and spent years unable to work.
In 2011, she went to rehab and got clean.
Three years later, she was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Marcy always believed the disease came from the dust she breathed that morning. She died on August 24, 2015, at 42.
So law enforcement can see your passwords, I guess that explains why after @CityPolice went through my phone I was getting login attempts on all my accounts lmao
Crockett: "I really don't know where we are in this country. Why are we even having this discussion? The US is falling apart right now, partly because he's allowing people to be killed in the streets, but also because we have a convicted felon with 34 counts who is still being shielded from any kind of accountability regarding a child sex-trafficking network. I don't understand why we're pretending any of this is normal."
