Not exaggerating when I say I've been on a couple of shortlists per month for over a year now and none of them have come to fruition. Advice please for composers who have 'emerged-ish' because I'm too experienced for the schemes, but aren't trusted with the big boy projects yet!
Composer and Conductors. I've been TOLD by a Symphony orchestra that all conductors like to have a transposing score rather than a score in C. In the past I have done both, but I tend to do scores in C. What's your experience or take on this??

Composers, what's a question you dread being asked? Mine is "what is your favourite instrument to write for?" – which for me is like asking a writer what their favourite letter is... (Comes up annoyingly often, too!)
#Composers, what is your dream ensemble to write for right now?
Standard ensembles, or non-standard, anything goes. What instrumentation do you have some ideas for that you really want to realize?
