@traderzaferr @paladinbhutia It’s called slippage and is a risk you acquire when choosing to trade these high volatility news events. Only got yourself to blame unfortunately, not a broker or prop firm.
- if you lose a trade after following your trading plan, it’s not a loss, it’s an expense.
- trading is a business and that’s the cost of running your business.
Setup I’m looking for on #EU tomorrow after a 4H CISD in the MMBM, targeting the original consolidation EQHs. Wednesday LOTW confluence + EURX targeting Yearly High. Anticipating manipulation during London KZ into the POI, a LTF MSS and rally towards TP. Partials at nearby PDHs.
@Dangstrat I took this exact trade and the exact GU short winner yesterday without seeing any of your tweets, which is reassuring. AMD looked too clean on this one but the DXY had other ideas.
@SirPickle_ How come you anticipated the DXY reacting from the first 4H FVG and not retracing to discount before continuing higher? Because it’s a BPR?
$DXY #DXY Analysis
- Price is respecting the Daily FVG left in the Bullish Displacement, failing to close beyond the C.E.
- While simultaneously failing to close beyond the Mean Threshold of the Weekly +OB.
Two strong indications towards higher prices for the $USD this week.
ICT Tip 💡:
EARLY STRUCTURE BREAK:
If price rejects a HTF key level and runs through a FVG in the opposite direction (inside of manipulation swing) we can class this as a break in (algorithmic) structure, even before we have seen price break the swing high/low.
