We’re so excited to share that Forgotten Playland: Party Edition will officially release on Steam on July 30th, 2026.
Seeing everything come together is such a special moment for us, and it feels great to finally share the date.
This has been such a journey for the team, and we’re incredibly proud of all their work and love that’s gone into bringing this game to life.

June Dev Update
June has been a huge month for the board game mode. We’ve added a lot of the core pieces, polished up the flow, and spent plenty of time tightening things up across the game to make everything feel smoother and clearer.
Highlights:
Board Game
Protective shield, teleport, dice movement, item inventory, discard, and placement have all been improved.
New board (map) view, winner screen with crown visuals, and phase/menu updates.
Better item handling, clearer placement rules, and fixes for illegal or awkward interactions.
More polish with VFX, SFX, animations, and performance improvements.
Customization Station
Emote fixes and added more cosmetics.
Party Games
Fixes and improvements landed in Secret Scroll, Hopping Hurdles, Bump-a-Ball, and Boomkyn Battle.

May has been a big month for the Board Game mode (not sure if I'm allowed to say... but, I think we are closing in on the finish 👀), customization, UI and a bunch of polish across the game 💅
A few highlights 🧰
Board Game Mode: Lots of fixes around item placement, inventory/item interaction, player visibility, new tile colors and player positioning. We are starting audio implementation too! 🎶
Customization Station: Emote wheel, radial menu, and controller/keyboard fixes.
UI: A bunch of small UI tweaks, removed unused elements which makes for smoother menus overall.
Party Games: Fixes in Rolling Rally, Dental Dodger, Bump-A-Ball and Hopping Hurdles.
We’ve also been doing a lot of testing to make sure these changes actually feel good in play 🩷

April Dev Update 🌸
We’ve had a very productive month, with a lot of work going into casual / board game modes, customization, and overall polish. We’ve also been doing a lot of testing to make sure everything feels right as we keep moving forward.
Highlights:
Casual Game Mode: EXP and rewards fixes.
Board Game Mode: Various fixes and progress.
Customization: New UI, emote wheel redesign, and improved item visibility.
Settings / Input: Lots of smaller fixes and consistency updates.
Testing: Lots and lots of testing across the game.
