Generally they use silver on the chips and copper wiring. But, you won’t get enough to make it worth stealing and it’ll increase the risk of them finding you. I’d try not to put your hands on it without gloves. They may get pissed enough to try and lift a finger print off it. Hypothetically, I’d use a baseball bat and try and smash it up as quickly as possible and take off. They are probably increasing patrols near the camera area to try and catch people destroying them.
