Mayor Linda Rhodes declared September 11 as a Day of Remembrance in honor of the 20th anniversary of the attacks. Fire Chief James Brown invites the community to gather at the memorial at 8:46 a.m. on that date to remember those who lost their lives or were otherwise affected.
