We raised 102% of the pin fun run fundraising goal--because of you!
Last Saturday, throngs of folks showed up in Plainville for the 3rd Annual Celebration of Life Fun Run & Fireworks Festival--to run, collect pins, dance, watch fireworks, and fight for kids whose parents are going through the pediatric cancer nightmare.
We don't have the words yet for how Saturday felt. We will. For now, we just want to say:
Thank you to every single person who registered--in Norfolk County and from all across the country.
Thank you to everyone who donated, who shared a post, who sent a text, who dragged a neighbor out of their house to come.
Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who built this night from nothing.
Special thanks to NCDAO candidates @adamdeitch and @teamBarakatMA for joining some of the biggest hearts in Norfolk County in raising funds that'll help more kids grow up--
@MaliaJusczyk would have loved every second of it.
PS: More pics and info coming soon!
One of the true pleasures of this campaign is meeting people across Norfolk County who are engaged in the community and supporting truly incredible causes. We were so happy to participate in the 3rd Annual Celebration of Life Fun Run Festival at the Field of Dreams in Plainville last weekend and to show our support for the For Kids’ Sake Foundation.

Malia Jusczyk filled her days with softball, soccer and tennis — determined to live as active a life as possible, despite years of cancer treatment.

Tonight’s Hero of the Match is Malia Jusczyk.
Malia heroically battled neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of childhood cancer, twice before recently passing in June.
Malia showed her bravery through her grit, kindness and ability to excel despite all the obstacles in front of her.
Her family continues to honor her legacy through @ForKidsSakeInc, a non-profit dedicated to fundraising for pediatric cancer research and covering treatment-related expenses for local families with a child fighting cancer.
From the entire New England Revolution family, we say thank you Malia, you will forever be our hero.

🚨 Attention Norfolk County, MA: A couple months ago we quietly shifted early registration for this year’s 5K from Friday, June 19 to Wednesday, June 17 -- because that Friday is Juneteenth.
For Kids’ Sake Foundation has been running this 5K to crush childhood cancer in Plainville for over a decade. We’ve always done early reg on the Friday before the race…
but this year we adjusted so families could honor the holiday without conflict.
Join us Saturday, June 20 for the race + free family fireworks festival at Field of Dreams.
Every dollar funds life-saving treatment for kids with cancer so everyone has a better chance to grow up.
Reply RUN or DM us for the link.
Let’s do something positive together in Norfolk County this June.
Malia's Legacy Loves On fellowship at Dana-Farber -- and we completed a $200,000 commitment last year (on top the funds from 2024 mentioned below).
We won't stop until pediatric cancer is a nightmare of the past.

Turner's + the Rev's commitment to community meant the world to Honorary Captain Malia Jusczyk before she died in '23. A soccer park with a statue of her at the entrance was just named after her a few weeks ago, and we're deeply grateful that her fav team + player are forever a part of her short but mighty soccer legacy. We'd be honored if the Revs community would join us for our annual fun run & fireworks festival a few minutes from Gillette Stadium in Norfolk County on June 20--all proceeds go to crushing the cancer that took her life so more kids get to grow up: https://t.co/fhJUcekJLu
@monk_understudy and there's the video about the Malia's Soccer Park opening that I mentioned last month/said I'd share when it was ready 🙂 https://t.co/jCU7fnNinX
🚨 Norfolk County, MA football fans: Orlando just opened Malia’s Park in honor of Plainville soccer kid Malia Jusczyk--the young Revs fan who stole Matt Turner’s heart. Her hometown is keeping her legacy alive with the 3rd Annual For Kids’ Sake Fun Run + Fireworks Festival on June 20. Local or remote runners welcome--every mile funds pediatric cancer trials. Boston sports fans… who’s showing up?

National Brother's Day is May 24, but we just couldn't wait to give this little guy a shoutout--
every year since his sister died, a 10-year-old named Kole designs a 5K t-shirt to help raise funds in Norfolk County for life-saving childhood cancer treatment in honor of his sister--
and every year, he puts them together in the artwork.
This year's shirt design is in the last panel. Check it out and grab your own on June 20! (All 2026 fun run proceeds will go to promising trials at @ChildrensPhila and @seattlechildren) ⬇️
