@YIMBYkieran Also for people without a UK address a lot of stores don't allow you to get one, so sometimes homeless people and others who might not fit the requirements don't have a choice to the deals, especially when stores higher the og prices to make the deals seem better.
@Oracle_Morosis @aquariusbutch But it would require the show to break from its formula for that to be the plot of her season when it tends to be more character and romantic tension focused than social commentary.
@Oracle_Morosis @aquariusbutch I agree it would be really interesting to see her wrestling with the privilege of her class position while also connecting with a group that shares a lot of her views. Then there could be an intricate conversation into her beliefs and would cause her to wrestle with herself +
@Oracle_Morosis @aquariusbutch Personally, if the conclusion to her story was her having a deeper understanding of herself and not wanting to be with him, I’d be happy, but I don’t expect that from this show because of its usual formula.
@Oracle_Morosis @aquariusbutch Eloise falling in love with a man of high stature makes for an interesting story because we get to see how she deals with the unexpected. +
@f4lserealitiess@aquariusbutch I don't think they need to be challenged, but falling in love with someone who's status conforms to societal standards isn't what she envisioned for herself. It adds tension and challenges her beliefs about who she is, which lets us explore more into Eloise's character
@claudiadoves @aquariusbutch What I mean is it challenges her beliefs about herself, that she will lead an unconventional life and won't conform to her mother's wishes. That's why it creates tension, because even if he isn't opposed to her beliefs, his very existence conforms to that kind of society.
@girlwreckage This is what confused me bcs Lexa definitely is but Dani and Van aren't. And I wouldn't say Ava was bcs her death didn't seem to be permanent, and Charlie bcs they were killing off a bunch of well-known characters in the same season
This must be amazing if you're not really into the whole 'jokes' or 'storyline' aspects of sitcoms, and the thing you like about TV is just seeing all the colours and shapes moving around
