In Before I Turn you are a scientist who was bitten on the first day of a new outbreak. You'll turn, eventually, if you don't do anything about it.
Draw your own blood, run tests, identify the virus and develop a cure. Don't forget to eat, drink and sleep.
It is very well done and it sets an incredible mood for the game, while not really explaining anything directly. It made it right into my wishlist, and I hope it makes it in yours too.

Prospice: Anomalous Logistics has of the more striking Demos during this Next Fest. Throws your right into the game, and you have to drive across this haunted island transporting... well, weird stuff.
You have to plan routes, manage fuel, document what you see and find.
In LIKVAR: ZOYA you take over the role of a supervisor who is assigned to Zoya, a candidate ready to become a superpowered special agent.
You have 30 days to turn her into the perfect agent, or forge the records you submit, all while taking care of Zoya's physical and mental health.
Just hit the 1000 mark on my viewed titles during this #NextFest . Only 3 wishlisted games.
Not to say only 3 games out of 1008 were good, but only 3 of them spoke to me personally.
It's rough, and there's a lot of mud to dig through, but it is still possible to find gems.
Making the ASCII MMORPG of my dreams!
Today I was figuring out how high ground and clouds will work. The world below is a real, explorable space, so you’ll be able to clearly see everything happening down there. If the weather’s good, of course 😁

At the moment, even when signing games for a publishing agreement, we are very mindful of how long will it take for the game to launch, and of whether the game has already been announced, exactly because of this issue.
I always welcome competition, but a lot of these cases are straight up plagiarism / theft.
The trailer sets an incredible vibe, and quite honestly this kind of aesthetic is my soft spot. The game is set to come out in EA in just a couple of days! Go wishlist it!

This indie game called Athanasia, by @MomentumGamesCo , is an immersive sim that puts you in the boots of a researcher tasked with investigating a facility where Dinosaurs are now roaming free.
Survive, manage resources, use stealth, hacking, and fight the beasts themselves.
@BruinsTrading Yeah still not out. Seems like they had some issues with Steam itself and copyrights... Not sure if that's true or not but let's see.
I've worked closely with steam on numerous releases, and never something like this happened last-minute.
This Indie Survival game, called Online: 404, is doing something really interesting:
Your main survival tool is your (in-game) smartphone.
Go online, use the flashlight, check the weather... it's all there. And don't forget to pay your internet build.
The game is also co-op!!
Online: 404 is coming out in Early Access in two days, and while there is no demo available, it looks to be something fresh and unique in this genre. Go wishlist it!

The Hollowing, from @_rubeki , has captivated me with its demo like few other games have in the past months.
I made a short video on why I think the atmosphere it created in the Demo sets the stage for a great game.
Today, The Last Flight from @TLFGame launches in Early Access.
It's a simulation/survival game in which your goal is to rebuild an airplane piece by piece.
Scavenge a post apocalyptic world to find resources and parts, fly between islands and reclaim freedom.
The demo is janky but fantastic, and had some very strong Voices of The Void vibes to it. Looking forward to trying this later today!
