No matter the size of the egg box (6, 12, 15), no matter how many eggs are left, I absolutely have to make them as central and symmetrical as I can before I put them away. I tell myself it's to get the centre of gravity right for next time I pick them up.
My Grandad is convinced a seagull called Sally has been stalking him since the 70s because he destroyed her nest. Although it sounds mad I secretly believe him, especially after I took him for lunch & a seagull swooped at his head & he shouted back "when will this end Sally?"
When I was at school, Dad convinced my friend that when you flushed away a huge turd you had to phone Thames Water so they could 'deal with it' to stop the pipes blocking. He gave my friend the landline number of his mate who was in on it. The calls carried on for several years.
Up to 22 Swift nests were destroyed during demolition works carried out by Northeast Demolition UK on behalf of Hill Group and Clarion Housing. Conservationists have described this as a significant wildlife crime. Surrey Police had been warned that Swifts were actively nesting.
El efecto de un solo árbol en la calle es equivalente a cinco aires acondicionados del tamaño de una habitación funcionando 20 horas al día. Si nuestra ciudad se llenara de calles como esta la vida en verano sería mucho más agradable.
I picked my little girl up from daycare, and the staff could barely hold back their laughter.
Apparently, she spent the entire day completely obsessed with a giant Great Dane named George.
Everywhere he went… she followed.
From room to room.
Nap spot to nap spot.
Water break to water break.
If George moved even a little, she was right behind him like his tiny shadow.
And judging by the way she looked at him… she was absolutely in love.
The moment I saw her face, I had to take a picture. She looked unbelievably happy like she had just met the love of her life and still couldn’t believe he was real.
Honestly, it was one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen.
It’s funny how dogs somehow experience crushes almost exactly like humans do… because my girl definitely fell head over paws for George.
