@mercsogyny I’m just worried about the European stretch of the season. Last year it was a pretty rough stretch from Imola until Monza/Baku, some bad luck but some mistakes. Winning Monaco is a pretty good way to start, plus he’s got a better car and tons of confidence.

@LAT3BRAKING Yeah the batteries just aren’t quite up to it yet in terms of delivering for a hot lap. Hopefully as the tech develops it gets better and more efficient, but having to lift off massively for a hot lap is really really upsetting to me

@mercsogyny I really, really hope so. The new cars look amazing, look nimble, let’s see how the racing goes, but the energy strategy could be good. And if the engineers end up making groundbreaking improvements to the battery tech, that will be awesome. It’s just about getting to that point

@mandarthalorian Nah. Mid-2024 to mid-2025 I was astounded by the falling off that was happening but the last half of 2025 redeemed the hope I had in that technical team. They usually design the car for better high speed performance, they clearly think that is the direction to go. Trust
