@YourWaifu420@Silverlight550 Yes, and that's a problem you stupid bitch. You shouldn't rewrite character dialogue to suit your own sensibilities in a remake.
@Silverlight550 Apparently several characters' idiosyncracies were censored/"lost in translation" in the translation of the PS2 original. Not that unambiguously censoring the script on purpose this time isn't bad, though.

I like it myself but it is very much not the version you want if you're a (rightful) purist about the original story. Better just get the PS2 original.

Regardless, the pronouns allegedly making him nonbinary is the entire issue at hand. If you never said a thing about it, then it's not really relevant to my point.
@deighthepal@haruhihiphop ...story), then that's fine. As it is now, it's simply ludicrous to pretend that Kris isn't at most, a boy who for whatever reason is referred to as "they/them" either by his own preference or otherwise and he simply doesn't mind.
@deighthepal@haruhihiphop Several people on this website have already pointed out how Kris' behavior is more of a boy than a girl, so I won't waste my time elaborating on that. If Kris is actually stated to be female, male, or explicitly something else (which I doubt because that's pointless to the...
@ray0frmtD@deighthepal@haruhihiphop This has been an issue since before UT, people will gladly insinuate non-normal "genders" onto fictional characters but then get on a high horse when you do the inverse and assume someone is just male or female.
@deighthepal@haruhihiphop I don't believe any of this horseshit, Kris is obviously male and Toby gave him "they/them" pronouns to satisfy the mentally ill in his fanbase.
The point is that insisting that Kris is nonbinary is counter to YOU guys' beliefs, and coming down on anyone who doesn't...
@alidesson@haruhihiphop "Queers" are gay people, and no one is apparently calling Kris gay.
None of these "hints" are clear and could just as easily be looked at as Kris being female or simply preferring they/them pronouns without being nonbinary.
@jaidmdmdkd92732@happiomi@LookAtMyMeat1 I do, which is exactly my point; Kris being nonbinary isn't the ONLY potential reason for him having they/them pronouns.
