A Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all at the Forres Heritage Trust.
This is the first large illuminated Christmas tree erected at the Cross, which was in December 1953. The first Christmas Tree in the Town, was put up the previous year, 1952, in the Market Green.
The Trust held a ‘Thank You’ event for the volunteers yesterday afternoon. Put simply, without these amazing people who give up their time to do a plethora of jobs, the Trust would not exist as it does. THANK YOU ❤️
