Senegal backs Dr Patrice Motsepe amid AFCON controversy

The Senegalese President has today contacted Dr Patrice Motsepe, assuring him of their full support for his leadership and work at CAF.

Despite taking the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, Senegal acknowledge that Motsepe had no involvement in the decision-making process, stressing that the verdict was reached by an independent body.

They maintain that he had 0% contribution to the final outcome.
