Then login your Foscam account in Foscam VMS.

Please click setup button below the camera name and go to device settings-->Detector-->Motion Detection to disable the camera sound. thanks.

@Dann_IT OK. On your iPhone, you can use the Foscam app to add the camera to view and on your iMac, you can install the Foscam VMS to add the camera. You can do the firmware upgrade for the camera by Foscam app. There is no other way to determine the port is broken or not. Thanks

@Dann_IT I think that ethernet cable or the port of the router was broken.

You can see the green light on the camera. If it stays solid, it connects with ethernet.
