FOSSA hosted several high school students for short-term 3-day internships at our offices last week, giving them a glimpse into our daily operations. Through @FOSSA_AdAstra , we're dedicated to shaping young minds and fostering a passion for learning. 🌟

@cgbassa @horv_att @planet4589 @cosmos4u @FossaSys All constituents were concious of the short orbital life, initial estimates showed 2 weeks in orbit vs the obtained 1 week. The experiments were all succesfuly demonstrated either way and the lower orbita has not significantly impacted the mission. PQs at 500km last years.

On Sunday, #FOSSASat-1B will be launched aboard the Alpha Flight 2, “To the Black”, demonstrating Decentralized IoT connectivity! Congrats to the Firefly Aerospace team and all amateurs participating in the reception. It will be transmitting open IoT #LoRa signals at 436.7MHz.

We've presented our purpose to be at @CongressEie, which took place at the @Ingenieria_Esp, where professionals of aerospace industry shared ideas about the future of #NewSpace. We encourage all #students and #youngpeople to become part of the aerospace fabric of our country!

With these activities, from FOSSA Ad astra we try to bring future leaders closer to careers and subjects related to space, being sure that their contributions will mean great innovations for the market and the hole industry.

Last Tuesday. April 26, 2022, our engineer, Beatriz Serrano, participated in the Professional Orientation Day of the @colesanignacio (Torrelodones, Madrid), a meeting the school celebrates every year to help in the academic and professional orientation of the students.

Beatriz had the chance to explain to students how she decided to study Aerospace Engineering, the difficulties, and challenges she had to face, and how that choice has led her to work at @FossaSys, the first Spanish company to put picosatellites into orbit for #IoTconnectivity.
