A Full Circle Moment 🙌

Last Week we had the privalige of representing Foundations4TheFuture at Edmund Campion School’s Year 11 mock interview day as part of a wider initiative to get year 11 students prepared for life after school.

As the morning come to an end we had one more interview to deliver and to our suprise this young man come and sat in front of us... someone our Managing Director Aaron had worked with nearly 7 years ago during his primary school journey.

It was a powerful reminder of how far a bit of early support and encouragement can go. Seeing his growth, confidence and maturity was genuinely inspiring and a testament to the brilliant work being done by the staff at Edmund Campion.

Moments like this highlight the true impact of collaboration between schools and organisations committed to helping young people prepare for their futures. 🌱

We’ve come to the end of our first block of cooking sessions and what an amazing time it’s been! The children have learnt so much — from chopping and seasoning to cooking up healthy, tasty vegan dishes. 🌱🍴
Each week they’ve grown in confidence, teamwork, and creativity — and most importantly, they’ve enjoyed every moment. 💚

A few months ago our Managing Director Aaron had the opportunity to take this Year 11 student who he had been supporting over the course of the last academic year at @GW_Academy to his first ever Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) class & @atosjiujitsuuk

Seeing him leave the end of the first session smiling and proud of himself was a real reminder of why Foundations4TheFuture CIC was created. Sometimes, just showing up and taking a young person out of their comfort zone can shift how they view themselves and what they are capable of. He now has a membership fully sponsored by our organisation & we look forward to watching him grow even more as a person and as a BJJ participant! #mentoring #opportunity #brazilianjujitsu #resilience #education #lifeskills
